Need Ideas For An Inexpensive Wedding

We did a wedding for a friend who didn`t have a lot to spend and one of our best ideas was for the centerpieces. Everyone commented on them, loved them, and even asked to buy them. All we did for each table was take three empty boxes, three sizes - large, medium and small ( I think we used a shirt box, a shoe box and ? ). We wrapped them in inexpensive white butcher block paper, stacked them, then we cut tool into 5 in. Wide and about 40 in. Long strips (like a long ribbon) and wrapped one strip up from the bottom, around all three of the boxes with some left at the top to train down the boxes. We topped the boxes with a lilac colored hydrangia flower, and sprinkle some rose petals on the table. Every one loves the look of beautifully wrapped presents. One added benefit that we didn`t expect: the look of the room was so beautiful and dramatic with all the tiered gifts and tool ribbon.
