Yes, your bridal salon could do what is callled a hollow to hem measurement from Marisa where they will take your measurements and have the gown cut to your height, this will usually cost anywhere from 250 to 350 depending on where your store is located. However they can request that marisa send the hem seperately and have their seamstress do the hem which will cost you anywhere from 100 to 200 again it just depends on where you`re located. But that is a normal practice and nothing you should be concerned about.

For this dress the hem is actually sewn on separately (about 3 inches up or so), but you can`t even tell. It was made this way so the hem can be taken off and then sewn back on further up if the bride needs the dress shortened. It is not an additional cost.
