Dress Fiasco

I bought my gown from David`s in July. I had an appointment made one week in advance, and when I got there, was told my sales rep wasn`t in. So I got stuck with someone who already had a bride who was EXTREMELY high maintenence. As I was checking out, I mentioned I was also going to be in a wedding in November. I told them the dress I wanted and the color. Nobody told me the color was newer, therefore would take longer to order. A month later I walk in to order it, and lo and behold, they now tell me, "that will take too long to order." The dresses they CAN get in in that color are very unflattering to someone like myself, who wears a size 16. They basically acted as if I was somehow in the wrong, and too bad for me. So I asked, "I am getting married next summer, when should my girls get their dresses?" And I am being told December! What?! A dress takes THAT long?!
