Town Crier

Has anyone done this? A child of about five or six runs down the aisle ringing a bell and yelling the bride is coming! just before your entrance and walk down the aisle. He is usually dressed in the old world style clothing.

I think it is really cute but wanted to hear from others that have done this. What was the reaction of your guest.
