BUYER BEWARE OF THE WEDDING PLANTATION

On February 28th my fiance and I went to buy a wedding dress at "A Wedding Plantation, 3900 Noe-Bixby Road, Columbus, OH 43232. We picked out a dress from one of their magazines but I couldn`t try it on as they didn`t have my size in stock. They said that we would have to order it. And before we could order it, we would have to pay for it in full. So we did. Stupid us. They promised that the dress would arrive May 15th. When May 15 came and went, I called to see where my dress was. They told me that it wouldn`t arrive there until June 15th. By June 28 I still didn`t have the dress. So on June 30th I went there to find out what happened. Now they say the dress won`t be shipped until July 21st. They have changed the delivery date three times. My wedding is Sept. 27. Because of this, I can`t get alterations done as the owner said it would take another 3 months if I needed alterations done to the dress. I asked for a refund and they won`t do it because the dress had to be orderd as most of their dress do. They sell the dress there but don`t carry it in their stock for you to see or try on. So you have no choice but to order it. And because it has to be ordered, they WON`T give you a refund for any reason. Not even for being delivered late. It shouldn`t take 5 months to get a wedding dress. Another customer there won`t get her dress until a week before her wedding. She asked for a refund and I heard the owner say she can`t get a refund either. They said we were stuck with the dress.
DON`T BUY FROM THE WEDDING PLANTATION, unless you want more mental stress and worries. Like you don`t have enough worry just planning out the wedding.

You might try calling the State of Ohio Attorney General`s office to get your money. You would call the consumer protection area. Just a thought. Good Luck!

I too had issues with them. I am not a size 6 so i was not able to fit into any dresses and was forced to buy before I try. I ended up changing my mind and they told me that I had to buy both of them, i was unable to return the first one (that I never got to try on). I left crying because I had to pay for 2 dresses. In the end they didn`t make me pay but what a pain.

Sorry you had trouble. I never got mine resolved. Not even 6 On Your Side could help. I didn`t have time to take them to court as I was running out of time for a wedding dress. That`s why I tell everyone to stay away from the Wedding Plantation.
