Renewing Vows

My husband and I were married this year, and has had it bumpy all ready... We never went to pre marriage counseling, or anything... We decided to go to marriage counseling, and renew our vows on our 1 yr ann. Has anyone done this before and how was it... Because of money issues we went to the JOP, but we want out marriage to be blessed by God this go round and hopefully itll make us stronger... We also plan to get closer to God through all of this...
