Point Of Veiw From Someone That Works There.

I hear at least 3 times a day that this must be the best job that anyone can have. It is a good job intill recently, What you might not be aware of is the company has bee sold 3 times in the past 7 years and every time it is brought it gets harder and harder on the consultants we do not get paid must if we don`t sale a certain amount every two weeks. And if we don`t sale a bride and her party we are told that we will be fired if our sales don`t come up. I talk from personal experiance I enjoy working with my brides and there families I can`t tell how much it means to me when a bride find the dress that they will always think of. But we know if that bride does not buy we are going to have to listen to the mangers tell us everything we did wrong. It not that we want to be pushy but our jobs are on the line if we don`t hit out sales and the units. It is a lot of pressure to put on someone who only gets paid $7.50 hour. I am sorry if you have had a bad experiance at David`s Bridal but is not the consultants fault. They are under so much pressure it sometime that they don`t think on how they are treating anyone if you really want to get the best service then maybe if the customers would wright the home office, maybe if the company changes the way they treat the empolyees and pay them for all of there work the store might not have as many problems. I enjoy my work but sometime I hate it to. There is to much put on the sale and not the customers.
