Beach Wedding In Long Beach Ca.

Hi--

I just wanted to let you know I had my ceremony and reception at the Kayak kafe (Alfredo`s Tiki Beach club)
In Long Beach, Ca. (Belmont shore)

Both the ceremony and the reception it was beautiful-- I did a tropical/island theme reception..

This is what one of the guest said about my reception:

The reception was not your traditional wedding reception. It was different, but awesome. It was a Tropical/Island themed reception at a place called Kayak Kafe out on Naples Island in Long Beach. This place was so neat. I felt like I was in Hawaii. The tables were set up on the sand and the guests were walking around barefoot. The restaurant and beach was totally decorated with tiki torches, twinkle lights, and real Hawaiian flowers. The tables were all named after different islands. I can````````t believe the favors that this girl did. It is too much to type, but let me tell you she made everything from decorated rocks to skip, to little hawaiian shirt tissue holders!!

The food was delicious too. They had a appetizer buffet which I totally filled myself up on....grilled vegetables, chips and hawaiian salsa, cheeses, etc. I wasn````````t hungry for dinner, because I ate so much of the appetizers, but it looked too good to pass up. Dinner was teriyaki chicken and beef, with steamed rice and veggies. Delicious! The Mai Tai````````s were flowin non-stop as well! The entertainment was very cool.

They had a Island Band that played island music. There were hula dancers, and a fire thrower. The hula dancers even got some guys to go onto the dance floor and learn. It was very funny! There was only one thing that happened that I noticed went wrong. It was something that no one could prevent, but it turned out for the better in my opinion. It started to sprinke outside during the reception. Normally you would think that everyone would run inside undercover, but we all sat there in awe and starred at the HUGE rainbow in the sky. It was absolutely beautiful!


I don`t work for them.. I just had my wedding there.. I know they don`t advertise so this is why I decided to do this.. I wanted bride`s to know that this place exist in case someone is interested..
