Potluck Reception...........

I am attending an out-of-state potluck wedding in August..........there was no mention of what kind of dish to bring, and I am NOT one to stop by the local grocery for a party tray on the way there. I feel obligated to do something nice, since the bride is my fiance`s mother! I`ve never been to a potluck wedding, and I`m not sure how to feel about seeing "Kindly bring a side dish with you, please" on the invite.
