Oleg Cassini A-Line Size 10 Elegant & Simple
Hi all! I have an absolutly stunning Oleg Cassini size 10. When searching for a dress I was looking for a dress that was simple yet elegant and this dress fit the bill!
It is a very flattering a-line cut with beaded spaghetti straps in candlelight white. It has a lace overlay that has just the right amount of beadwork and sequins to make you sparkle without looking gaudy. It has a sweep train that is the perfect length for a little show but not too much fuss.
The dress was worn once on my wedding on 5/17. It has been altered to be made into a petite. AKA the staps were shortened and a few inches were taken off the bottom. I am 5`3" and normally wear a size 4 from most clothing retailers. No alterations have been made to the bodice or any other seams. There are no stains, pulls, or any other signs of wear.
I paid over $500 from David`s Bridal and would like to get $250 out of it. I have pictures available for e-mailing but you can also see the dress on David`s Bridal website (the dress they show is in pure white but mine is what was called ivory)
Please e-mail me for additional details and pictures.

Hi, i`m interested in your dress, but I`m a little curious about the kinds of alterations that you had done. Could you please e-mail me some pictures and if possible please explain what alterations were made (for example, does the bottom still have the scalloped edge? What size is it now? How much room is there for adjustment in the seam?-- because I may need to let it out a few inches)
Thanks!

Megan,
The alterations I had done were very simple. None of the seams were touched as the gown itself fit perfectly. The alterations that were done were just to make it into a petite (I`m 5`3"). So the straps were shortened by a few inches. This could be undone if need be as the beading was removed from a section and then set into the seams for the alteration. Also the scalloped edge is removeable for alterations. My Seamstress took the scalloped edge off, cut several inches and then replaced the scalloped edge.
I have pictures available if you would like to see them but I need you e-mail address. I can be reached at jse_jms_58@hotmail.com
Thanks!
Jessica
