Berkeley Hotel In Asbury Park

I am a future bride & I just booked my wedding at the Berkeley hotel in Asbury Park! I had a really wonderful exsperince with the hotel staff and catering manager. I was very dissapointed with the "lack of landscaping" and some of the windows at first. TO my suprise I went back to book my wedding and all the landscaping was finished and look really great! I can`t say anything negative about the catering manager, she has been nothing but helpful and on target! The front desk staff have also been very polite and offered us a a folder of information. I was really nervous of booking because the weekend of May 16 & 17 I was staying over the hotel while there was a wedding going on...and the guests in that wedding were awfuly drunk and had no class....so i was afraid that was how everything else was going to be...but it wasn`t!! I also attended an event there last weekend and it was so FABULOUS! I do agree that the Berkeley isnt for everyone because there is alot of work inviolved, but when your working with dedicated people everything is what you want! I am very excited about my 2009 wedding! I can`t wait to be married : ) Good luck everyone!
