Winter Wedding Favors

I need ideas for our wedding favors. I`ve already purchased white favor boxes that I`m going to stencil snowflakes on. I need ideas for what to put inside the boxes. The boxes are 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" perfect squares. Please any ideas would be helpful.

P.s. We are on a very small budget

Hi, My daughter is having a winter wedding in Dec. First, get your money back on those boxes. Go into the wax wizard on the net and you will find snowflake made of frosted glass votives, tea lights. Next go to your local party store or fabric store and find some beautiful wide ribbon and tie this around the candle with a big bow on top. Will look very festive. Choose a sparkly white and silver ribbon for example.

Or, buy all different snowflake ornaments and give them to each guest or couple. Snowflakes are winter and you don`t run into the religous backgrounds of people.

Last idea, on the net type in jingle buddies for search. These are adorable!!! You will want the bride and groom ones. They are a good size polished jingle bell with a frosted glass snowman bride with veil or groom in tux on top. I have them and they are not cheap looking. Let me know if you need more ideas and good luck.

If you celebrate Christmas...Ornaments - cheap and easy. Buy a gold or silver fine tip paint marker and write whatever on them (Happy Holidays from the new Mr & Mrs or whatever, names and dates). Tie the top with a pretty plaid ribbon. Attach a tag if you want with a thank you or whatever. These can double as your centerpieces - check the dollar store for large plain glass bowls, put a pillar candle in the center and pile the ornaments around that. Pretty and festive!

Christmas cookies. Store bought or maybe a family recipe? You could include the recipe if you wanted.
Wilton makes a foam stamp shaped like a snowflake that you can dip in food coloring to decorate a round cookie.

Hello!
I`m having a winter wedding, too. If you`ve already bought the boxes, you should make homemade truffles. It`s dead easy (seriously, it`s like working with chocolate play dough). The recipie can be found at www.eaglebrand.com. I make them all the time and will be including them in my giftbaskets. Note: Don`t add the alcohol - it curdles the chocolate.
