Who Pays For A Jack And Jill Party?????

There is a dispute between a few friends of mine about who is suppose to pay for the jack and jill party. Some people say that the wedding party pays for it so that the bride and groom have more money to pay for the wedding. But i have always been told that the bride and groom pay for it and thats the reason they sell tickets is so that they pay for the jack and jill party and make some money to pay on the wedding or the honeymoon.
