Hi! I have an Oleg Cassini that MIGHT be what you`re looking for. I didn`t want all the froof of the "traditional" wedding gowns but still wanted something beautiful. This dress is a simple a-line, spaghetti straps, and a lace overlay. There is a very short sweep train that does not require any fuss. It was from David`s Bridal and it style #2681. I have a wedding gown that has spaghetti straps and a tulle bottom (it isn`t REALLY poofy...just a little). I know you said you didn`t want a train...mine has a VERY small one but it is designed to be held up off the floor - either that or it would be VERY easy to smooth out to being level with the rest of the dress.
