Wedding Under $1000

Hi, My boyfriend who I have been with for over 5 years finally popped the question and we have decided to get married on September. Our budget is $1000 and I was thinking of having a beach theme, but I`m not too sure if that`s within our budget. If anyone can help me with ideas or anything...I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you...=o)

Hi, I have a few suggestions for you. If the guest list is under 100 people, you and your family can cater it yourself ($200) or try to go through any local butcher shops ($800 for 125 guests). Generally getting married on the beach is scenic enought without "isle" decorations so forgo that extra cost ($0) and forgo the chairs, guest can stand through the ceremony (maybe some camping chairs for any elderly guests). Try to get your bouquet and your girl`s bouquets at a wholesale florist and make the bouquets yourself with ribbon and straight pins ($60). Try to network for things such as djs, photographers and cake bakers, for sure someone you know has a knack for these things and would love to offer their services as a gift ($0). ALSO, I have been to weddings previously that have no dj and have used their IPOD docking stations for their music, it was just fine! ($30 for the docking station at bed bath and beyond). If you plan on serving alcohol, try to find a reception site that sells it at cost, for example any moose lodges and stick to just beer and wine ($105 per keg and $1.50 per glass of wine at moose lodge near me). These types of places also let you bring in your own food. Gifts for guests, buy a pack or two of blank cd`s grab you and your mans favorite tunes and download them on. You can add a nice lable onto them at any copy shop or get creative with permanate markers (pink, green ect) and draw fun designs with your wedding date and names. ($50 for 100 W/O lables and that is probably overestimated.) Hope some of these ideas helped!
