CT Beach Wedding

Hi I am trying to plan a casual wedding reception on a CT beach for this coming August, preferably in the New Haven-Madison area. Does anyone know of a way to do this or a beach that allows this (and alcohol and caterers) without having to do things through a specfic restaurant on a beach? Let me know, thank you!
