David`s Bridal Completely Ruins Bridal Gown Experience

When I brought my sister-in-law to go wedding dress shopping on a weekday, with an appointment. I expected a great experience for her because I knew to store would not be busy. Instead, what we got was very unattentive, and brusque treatment. The "manager" of the store didn`t seem even to care when I asked if someone to going to help us with hanging up dresses she was done trying on. She was obviously on a personal call that had more importance than us. I wanted to go to a different salon, but my sister-in-law ended up finding a dress that she just had to have. Don`t even get me going on how the alterations process went, that is a whole other issue. Girls, I would say, go to a small bridal salon, you might save 100-150$ by going to David`s bridal, but the attention and personal service you will get is worth every penny. This is a once in a lifetime experience, don`t let the girls at Davids` bridal, making barely over minimum wage spoil it for you. You get what you pay for!!!! Trust me, it`s not worth taking the risk of being disappointed for this special occasion.

My experience with David`s Bridal was terrible too. I am getting married for the second time. When my "bridal consultant" found out that I wasn`t interested in looking at the wedding gowns but the mother of the bride dresses, she lost interest in us. My 2 teenage daughters and my mother were with me and we all needed dresses. But I guess she felt like her commission wouldn`t be worth the trouble of helping us.

Hey ladies .... Which state did you have a problem? I`m about to go and if it was the same location as yours I`ll think twice! :-)

Colorado. I was told that they won`t steam the veil, to place it on a clothes hanger and take it into the shower to get the wrinkles out. It was bought there and was not on sale. I don`t have enough time to go into all of it, this is the latest. I have 3 friends who are also getting married this year, all similar experiences.

I just bought my dress from David`s. Absolutely do not go there if you haven`t made an appointment. (I did have an appointment.) My attendant was very helpful as far as putting my dresses away and bringing new ones.

On the other hand ....DO NOT get snagged into getting your alterations with them. They are way overpriced, and do a lousy job. (That was my first experience with them at least. I knew better this time.)
