I Made A Big Mistake And Need Advice

Oh man did I mess up. I sent out my wedding invitations yesterday and they had printed on them the places where we registered for gifts. That is apparently a big no no on wedding invitations. I don`t know what to do. I`m embarrassed and don`t know what to do! Everyone is going to get them and think that I`m awful!! Any advice?? Anybody! Thanks!

Don`t worry about it...you can`t change it now. Don`t bother stressing - at least people will know where to buy you things you actually want! The people who are coming love you and I`m sure won`t care.

I sure hope so...my main worry is that my fiance`s mother (who is super old fashoined) will complain at me for not knowing better. I`m a total tom boy and know nothing about etiquette. I seriously hope that no one is offended. Thanks for your uplifting reply!!

Blame the printer, or own up to it before she notices. You could always say you need her guidence in these things lol. Its ok really, the ones that know you will realize it was an error.
Good Luck

I work at an invitation company and including your registry or reception information is not uncommon. Especially if the invitation has a casual feel.

Don`t worry. Most people don`t kinow that this should not be done and if they do I don`t think they will think it is a bad thing. My main advise to bride`s is that you enjoy the planning and the day and don`t let anything upset you. Good luck on everything else.

Our Hawaiian Luau Wedding is very informal, I used Hawaiian Shirts that open up and redid the inside for the invitation, on ms works. I did include where we were registered, as everyone was asking where we were registered. Everyone was very thankful that we did, so were we. I hope things work out for yours. Glory

There`s no use worrying over what cannot be changed. I don`t think it`s all that bad. I mean what is really the difference between that and the inserts? Relax, you can focus on other things now.
