I want to know what do i need to become an children event planner. Do i need to take a course?

I am intertested in obtaining information on how to become a party planner. I would like to know if there is any special education or training involved in becoming one. Mainly, I want to know how exactly does one start to become a party/event planner.

There are some courses you can take at home with the US Career Institute for wedding and event plannig. It`s not necessary but it does teach you the basics if you want to start your own business.
