How To Become A Party/Event Planner

I am intertested in obtaining information on how to become a party planner. I would like to know if there is any special education or training involved in becoming one. Mainly, I want to know how exactly does one start to become a party/event planner.

I was wondering if you found out any information from your message you posted a few days ago. I am also looking into becoming a wedding planner and having no luck finding information on the web. If you received any useful information, please let me know where to find it. Thank you for your help and success in finding out information.

You can start by doing a web search under:

Wedding/event planner
There`s tons of information out there and some also offer packages/software on how to get started:

Good luck in your search and journey into event planning.

I am a Party/Event Planner in Indianapolis, IN. I work out of my home, set my own hours, and absolutely love it! I wouldn`t be where I am today with out 1-800-PARTYSHop, they helped me get my foot in the door. I have access to over 5000 party supplies/decorations and over 100 themed parties! I don`t carry any inventory, no taking and handling money, and I don`t have to deliver the products. 1-800-PARTYSHop does it for me! We have wonderful ongoing support and training to help you get started in event planning. I found 1-800-PARTYSHop while searching online, loved the concept, signed up, and never looked back. There are some courses you can take at home with the US Career Institute for wedding and event plannig. It`s not necessary but it does teach you the basics if you want to start your own business.
