Any One Made Birdseed Rose Buds??

Has anyone made the rose bud birdseed holder? It says to use medium satin material. I was just wondering if a different type of material, like regular cotton would work

I think a stiff cotton would work. Just make sure it`s not too soft or it won`t hold it`s shape.

I WAS TOLD BY A DRAPERY MAKER THAT YOU COULD MAKE ONE BY NOT HAVE TO SEW A STITCH. SHE SAID TO GET THE HEAVY SATIN AND FOLD IT LIKE A CONE, THEN JUST WRAP WIRE AROUND THE BOTTOM AND COVER THE WIRE AND WIRE STEM IWTH GREEN FLORAL TAPE. THIS TAKE SO MUCH LESS TIME THAT SEWING. IT HELPS WHEN YOU ARE HAVNG TO MAKE A GREAT MANY.
