Targets Policy Not Bride Friendly

Brides register with a company that has not lost the touch of customer satisfaction. Don`t bother calling Target with a problem because you are connected to India where they really don`t care about you. Bed, Bath and Beyond is highly recommended.
I won`t rant and rave, I am advising you to let upper management know that I will start a 365 day campaign (this is day 1)on informing as many customers as possible via the internet and wedding sites about Target`s unfair policy of not issuing a credit for items bought on my daughters gift registry. She attended a bridal shower 1500 mikes from home, and had to pay for heavy items to be shipped because guests forgot they flew in. All she wanted was to return the unopened items (2) for a gift card she would immediately repurchase back home. The store management not only refused, but was rude as well, as was your customer service when contacted by phone at the store. The items were listed on your registry as purchased so why not believe they were? We showed them the registry!

My fiancee`s brothers wife used them for their wedding a month ago and had the same problem. She flat out told the manager to his face that she would make sure to tell all of her friends not to register with target for their wedding registry due to the problems she had(they had a lot of out of town guests and got some duplicates of some of their gifts that she just wanted store credit for) . She also hada copy of her registry with her when she went to make the return.
I had to return a maternity shirt that my fiancee`s mother had bought for me(so i of couse didnt have a receipt) that still had the tags on it(i had never worn it as it was way too small). I was just going to exchange it for store credit, and they first couldnt find the item in their system(it had been regular price when my future mil bought it). Then, when they did find it, they could only give me $4.27 for it and informed me that this counted towards my 2 return w/o receipts for a year(mind you i had set up my baby shower registry with them about 2-3 months prior, and will probably end up having many other returns without a receipt as a result).they took my id and took down all of my information as if i was a serial returner or something, then handed me the $4.27 in cash(after all this you would think that they would only give you store credit). It was ridiculous.
