1940`s Hairstyles

I`ve been searching for a good 1940`s style updo for my wedding. I`m wearing a long vintage veil (actually circa the period) attached by a cap, so i was figuring a fancy bun at the back, but i wanted to have some detail in the front. I`ve been looking for something a bit more subdued, i`m not in favor of huge rolls or pincurls in the front, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know!!!
