Nae -- Please have some back up plans in mind. I know she`ll be on her "best behavior" because the Ohio State Attorney General has filed a suit against her, but watch out -- don`t automatically believe everything that comes out of her mouth, and don`t trust Brandon any farther than you can throw him.

Nae -- have a back up plan in mind, just in case! There are countless people who have been ripped off by this woman. She`ll probably be on her best behavior because the State of Ohio`s Attorney General has filed a suit against her (see Columbus Dispatch 3/19/08 and 3/20/08). Don`t believe everything she says and please don`t trust Brandon. Good luck, and let us know how things go.

Syndi did just WONDERFUL for my wedding! she brought PLENTY of food and it was delicious!!!! She was amazing. Just FYI...

You lucked out, I`ve heard tons of bad things about the way she does business.

 

My fiance and I have been working with Ms. Shy for the past year. Once we heard about the Attorney General issues, we freaked. I was histerical! Our wedding is still a year away and I am putting my faith in God and my faith in Syndi. She has done nothing to us to make me believe that she will not pull through. She has been more than helpful with payments and she appears to be just as excited about our day as we are. I have done the research, heard the bull, and spoke to credible references. I really do not know what else I can do to make sure that everything will work out and goes as discussed. I am working to develop a new contract with extreme detail, but I am not a lawyer and I am unsure of many of the legalities to cover my butt if anything goes wrong. I am at my witts end and I feel hopless. I feel like the only thing I can do is wait and just pray that our day turns out ..catering and all!

Kimberley I`m curious with all the bad press that Syndi has been receiving lately how did you find out about her services. I`m from Ohio and had never heard about her company until the bad press started.

 

Kymberly i was worried when i heard all the bad press but i have to tell you she did wonderful for us. The food was GREAT. People still talk about how good the food was. I have not experienced anything like what people describe her as. Her son was there as well and he was very quiet and nice.

Please send me the picture, I would also like to know where your ceremony and reception was held. It`s not that I don`t trust your information, but I would like to talk to the businesses that she worked with before I contact her.
