Monique Lhuillier 2piece Estee Wedding Dress

Two piece Monique Lhuillier Estee wedding dress purchased from Ultimate Bride, Chicago in 2007

The top is ivory alencon lace and the bottom is ivory silk organza and comes with a winter rose sash (though various colors may be purchased for this dress from Monique Lhuillier.)

The top is marked a bridal size 8 and the bottom a bridal size 10, but I lost a considerable amount of weight before my wedding, so it has been altered to fit roughly to a "regular clothing" size 4. (At the time of the wedding my pant size was a 27 and I am small busted, so approx. Size 34 (small) B, if that helps at all) The halter top closes in the front, though appears seamless and has boning in place along the front/side bustline to keep the tops shape, i..e no riding up (invisible on the outside and unable to feel when wearing)The hem of the dress has NOT been cut and may be let down to reveal the train of the dress or lengthen. My preference was to not have a train, so instead of cutting the material I had additional pick-ups made of the train. Also, cups may be added to the top for extra shape - this was an option my seamstress gave me but I chose not to do.

The dress has been cleaned and preserved by Davis Imperial Cleaners, Chicago and is currently stored in a cool dry place and has not since been opened.
