Help

Hi, My name is Heather. I just got engaged, and I dont know where to start. We are going to pay for it ourselves, so as not to put a hardship on our families.
Being that we are going to be paying for it ourselves, I would like any suggestions on how to do it for as little money as possible. I have been over it, time and time again, and still do not know how it is possible. We just decided to set up a bank account, where we will put X amount of dollars in every month, to save up for the wedding. Like I said, any suggestions would be very helpful. We have decided to wait about 2, possibly 3 years, until there is a good amount of money in the bank for this.

My suggestion, is go small. Have about 10 people, family and a few good friends. Get a beautiful dress, flowers and champagne. Have dinner at a friends house - even cater it. Why spend your life savings on this when you can`t afford it. You have to ask; why am I getting married in the first place? Spend your money on a romantic honeymoon, somewhere fabulous.
Oh ... And always splash on a photographer, it`s worth it!
Good luck!
