Sept Wedding....
Hi...
Im getting married Sept 5th 09`..
My colors are a clover green for the dresses and for the colors of the flowers and other decorations i want deep oranges and pretty yellows..Im just not sure if it will go with the green.
Also we are getting married in a garden, so i am tryin to keep things simple andnot tooo fancy. I`m just not sure on what flowers i should use..or that come in the colors i want.. PLEASE HELP!!!! its been buggingme for some time now..I know that i still have a very long time but I am having me wedding in upstate NY while i live in Va...Im only in NY for a certain amount of time...
If anyone can give me ideas...please..

Hi,
I would suggest taking a sample flower to the dress you want and play around with some different shades. I had to do that with my colors (eggplant and orange). Once you see it in person vs. On paper or internet, you will get a better idea.

I was a florist about 100 years ago....oh no, it just seems that way. Anyway, you may want to think about this. There is actually a green flower called "bells of Ireland". They are really pretty and look great in a bridal bouquet. You could use that to tie in the green and of course use a little greenery. Keep the orange flowers like mums or lilys and mix it with peach colored roses and soft yellow or white roses. It would look beautiful,.ask you florist if those flowers will be in season for your wedding. Good luck with all your plans.
