Quinceanera

Is it inappropriate to ask to be on the court of a quinceanera? If you feel you haven`t been asked because maybe you live in another state, or you have a busy schedule, but you are really good friends with the quince girl, is it OK to ask to be on the court or let them know you`re available to be on the court? I want to be on my friend`s court, but she hasn`t asked me to yet. We are good friends. We spend the night at each others house when I`m home and she`s even visited me in my new home (and she only spends the night with me...she won`t spend the night at anyone else`s house). Is it proper or acceptable to ask? Please help. I really want to be a part of it and we have the exact same birthday.
