50th Anniversary Party

My brother-in-laws, husband and I are throwing a 50th Anniversary party/reception for their parents. I was just told I`m the caterer...I need easy nice food ideas for 100-200 people. Time is mid afternoon, no alcohol will be served.

If you make good lasagna ... That is an easy thing. You can make it ahead of time and freeze it in glass baking pans. Serving it in those silverplated frames makes it look more special, too. And ordering fried chicken is easy, too. Or if you have a another casserole dish that is especially good ... Like a chicken with sauce over rice ... Anything that can be frozen works out good. How you present the food makes a big difference, too. Don`t just lay the food on the table. Use boxes of various sizes and drape with fabric. Make it interesting.

You will need at least 2 lines ... 3 would be better. One long line takes FOREVER for people to go through.

Many think doing finger foods is easy but for 200 people it is VERY time and labor consuming. It is easier to make and freeze casseroles instead.
