Is there any way you could have one of your friends becom ordained, possibly via the internet? That is one less cost that you would have to encounter. I would also recommend some place different if you are thinking about a beach, maybe you could have it at a field or orchard. I have discovered that you cannot get much for $1000, but hopefully you will get some great and unique ideas. Good luck!

One way to cut your cost is to locate your local Justice of the Peace to perform your ceremony (most of them are such sweet older gentleman and will perform your ceremony for a fee of $50). Go to your local grocery for your cake - even Wal-Marts can make a very nice wedding cake! David`s bridal has a $99 gown sale on right now. Most tuxedo shops will give the grooms tux free when you rent the groomsmans tux.. Hope those ideas helped you out a little. Oh, and make your own bouqet - there are some great website that show you how and give loads of ideas.

I scoured the Internet for reasonably priced dresses, both wedding and bridesmaids. After many hours of searching, I found this http://www.justthebeginnings.com/ReDo/L%2004%2005%2007/3690.htm for my red bridesmaids dresses. NFI, but wanted to share what I think is a good find. After planning some large events in other areas of my life in the past, I have learned that it is never too early to plan!
