Danielle - you beat me to the punch cause I was sure going to post a message on here JUST like that. Layla - you obviously need to get a life. Obviously you are miserable and are trying to harass us because of it. Maybe if you weren`t so mean all the time you might actually find someone that would want to marry you then you could actually write real posts. In the meantime, please leave us alone if you can`t offer sound, reasonable or FRIENDLY advice!!

Sounds to me like someone got left at the altar or close to it. If she`d lighten up she`d realize that it helps to be happy for other people even while you yourself are miserable.

Layla is probably a he she that can`t find somebody to marry her. Every time I see a posting from her I laugh. Some people have way too much time on their hands.

Now I feel like a HEEL! I just found this site and in looking around, I replied to a "Layla" inquiry about "scary bridesmaids." Then I found this thread... I think my advice was sound, but now wish I hadn`t wasted my time...

You people are depressing me with your total lack of humor. Look, I`m going to be a bride too. Wedding planning is exciting and stressful all at the same time. I read this board and sometimes I just feel like you all take things too seriously. A little too obsessed with your weddings. Come on, Layla`s posts are absolutely hilarious! Get a grip, ladies. Stop taking everything so damn seriously. Loosen up and have a little chuckle compliments of this Layla person. Who cares who she is or why she`s doing these posts, the fact is she`s funny!!!!

The time has come for some real advice on this subject. You see, this person (or people) post rude messages with the idea of making you angry/upset/whatever.

By responding to him/her/it, you are giving him/her/it exactly what they want. We cannot explain why people do these things, except to think that it`s a cry for attention. There`s no need to give them what they desire.

When someone flames you, just chalk it up to some wacko who needs help, and continue on with your wedding plans as though nothing happened.

The people who are getting married and have relevant comments to add will do so. The ones who have nothing better to do but try to get a reaction are not worth our time.

So now, let`s make this post the last on this thread. Make it go to the bottom of the list by NOT RESPONDING TO IT OR ANY SIMILIAR ONES ANYMORE!

Hey! I am not Layla or anyone like Layla. Just because I choose to take Layla`s comments differently than most of you doesn`t mean I`m a horrible person. I`m a bride too and I must admit I`m a large sized bride. So I have just as much interest and just as much stress as all the other brides when it comes to wedding planning and fittings etc. I`m sorry that I`m the only one that thinks Layla provides a bit of comic relief around her.

I agree with Jillymo. I actually look forward to layla`s ridiculous posts, she`s totally crazy! I find it refreshing. I am a total barbie who is totally obsessed that my party favors are perfect and that my veil is on just right...you name it I have obsessed over it. I am a real bride like the rest of you, to see someone so completely nuts makes me laugh each time! let`s not get angry at each other...let`s just enjoy each other`s personalities and not get too worked up...we have enough stress as it is.

I still think this Layla is a "Flamer" who`s sole intention is to rile people up. Why doesn`t he/she reply to anyone`s opinions of him/her? Actually, his/her posts are quite amusing. Chalk it up as entertainment!
