Proper Wording For A Reception Invitation
Help!
My daughter will be married in the near future, having a very small, informal ceremony. She and her husband-to-be would like to have a renewal of vows and reception at a later date, approximately Jan. 2009. How do they word the marriage announcement and save the date for the reception approximately for 10 months later? They would like the reception to be romantic and semi-formal.

Hi,
The wording can be very simple or more formal.
I would say something like, Daughter and Fiance were married at this date in a small family affair. Please save the date for a future celebration in honor of this union. Formal invitation to follow.
