Uninviting A Bridesmaid

Is it "uninviting" if you talked with a couple of friends about being in each other`s weddings before you were even engaged and then you decide not to ask one of them? When we talked about it, we were good friends but now she`s married and I feel like the only time she wants to be my friend is when she needs something from me. I want people in my wedding who want to be a part of my life.
