I think that it is better to go by measurements, rather than tag size. My gown is 35/36, 27/28, 39 (although, this measurement isn`t as critical, since the gown is a-line). The dress could probably be let out a bit and can definitely be sized down.

I just saw the dress on ebay for sale. It was in the ebay stores site. It is only 750 dollars and is a size 12 I think.
