COLUMBUS OHIO AREA
We are getting married at Glen Laurel and would like to head back toward Columbus to spend the night. (This is because we live in Norhtwest Ohio and G.L. Is smoke free.) Does anyone have a suggestion of a nice place to spend our wedding night in that area? Thanks!

Have you been to Eastland? They have a nice new hotel (Hilton I think) right off of 270. Really neat outdoor shopping area - brick sidewalks. I`m not sure which side of Columbus you will be on but that is a really neat place.

The Adams-Mark hotel in downtown Columbus is beautiful.

The mall in Columbus is called Easton not Eastland, just so you don`t get confused, and yes they do have a Hilton there but not somewhere to stay on your wedding night. They have a hotel called the Doubletree and it doesn`t sound like much but it is nice. They have a Bridal suit for the Bride and Groom that has 2 floors and a spiral staircase to go to the second floor. And I think it is complimentary for the bride and groom. You might want to call and ask. That is where my fiance and I are thinking of staying, it is located downtown Columbus. Otherwise yes Easton, the hotel doesn`t seem that great for what it is but the atmosphere is nice. Good luck.

My guy and I were in Columbus a few months ago and we stayed at a Country Inn Suites a little outside Easton. (I think 2 exits South) The standard room we got was very warm and inviting... Nice decor, king sized bed, mini kitchen. It was lovely!
