REEM ACRA Strapless Ivory - Size 10

I bought this gorgeous Reem Acra gown for my June 2007 wedding. I purchased it at a Reem Acra Trunk Sale in New York. It was not a sample and has never been worn by anyone but me. The orignial price on the dress was $6,000 but I bought the dress for $3,500. The Reem Acra label indicates size 10. My husband and I ended up eloping and I never got to alter or wore the gown.

This elegant, ivory silk A-line gown is is just breathtaking. I feel in love with it the moment I saw it. It is strapless with a chapel length train. The detail is just incredible. It`s a perfect example of why Reem Acra`s dresses are so sought after!

Like all of Reem Acra dresses, the bodice is lushly and beautifuly detailed. The back of the bodice is beautifully sculpted. The chapel length train picks up the elaborate embroidered design of the bodice. You can`t help but feel like a princess!

I never had this dress altered to bustle it, but when they held it up for me the detail looks just beautiful! Since I didn`t wear the dress for our wedding or have it altered, I did not have the dress cleaned. There are a few dust marks on the underside the train from trying in on in a house with wood floors. I was assured that it wouldn`t show and if I wanted to my seamstress could spot clean it. It does nothing to take away from the beauty of this dress.

Sorry - I actually forgot to put the asking price. I`m only asking $1,500 for this beautiful dress. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Christine

I have a bunch of pictures at this site:

They really don`t do it justice though. The train is really my favorite part. It`s so pretty.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Christine
