Brown & Pink Wedding

Use coffee beans!

Hi there, my wedding is Sept 27, 2008 and my colors are brown and pink as well. I havent officially decided on my centerpieces yet.. But I have seen a few neat ideas.
I have seen square vases with coffee beans in them and then a pink candle sitting at the top in the center. It looks really neat... And then you could always tie a ribbon around the vase too for even more pink.
If you could find a florist that could somehow put flowers in the coffee beans without the flowers drying out.. That would be pretty... Or if you don`t mind fake flowers that would work as well.
My flowers are going to be gerbera daisys... And there is a gerbera daisy that is pink and then has a brown center.. So I am thinking of just putting 4-5 stems in a vase.. Simply but elegant.
