I Need Food Ideas On A Limited Budget
I want to help make my son`s wedding as nice as possible but I need ideas on how to do this without blowing my budget. We have tasks deligated out to everyone. The brides mother and myself are doing the food. This is a first for me so any help would be appreciated.Thanks.

Try SAMs wholesale club to get ready made treats at a reasonable price. Also Party and Dollar carries alot of wedding stuff at good prices. Good luck

I dont know how tight your budget but I am on a very tight one also, you can try a local culinary school and have students cater it, that was an idea given to me. You can buy the food at like a Costco or whatever in your area and they can make it. Hope that helps

To help cut costs I am doing an Italian Buffet. 2 or 3 kinds of sauce with 2 or 3 kinds of pasta. Then we are havin big bowl of salad on the tables a la Olive Garden. This is easy, inexpensive, and everyone loves it.

I am getting married in July and with all the expense of flying our budget is limited also. We decided on a light brunch, with juices, waters, pasta salads and sliced deli meats and cheeses with assorted breads and crackers, along with fresh California fruit. The total cost has been fairly low.

You could also have a pot luck. I have seen this done at alot of receptions. Just put it in the invitations and if everyone brings a dish there will be plenty of food.
Good luck
