ADVICE NEEDED! I am getting married in February (2003) and have fallen inlove with the Davina Marie.
The difficulty is, I live in London and it`s being quoted at £1250! I`ve seen it quoted for a fraction of the price in U.S. Dollars... Do I try to order it from the states, will I actually save any money, or is it too risky to buy it from a shop that is unable to fit me closer to the time of the wedding?

GO to Ebay there are plenty of Maggie SOttero dresses very cheap. I got mine for 650.00 I got the Giovanni Ballerina its gorgeous.

I also considered ordering online, but decided against it in the end. Here in Canada, I`d have to pay for shipping, US exchange, taxes, duty - by the time I added it all up, it just wasn`t a savings. There don`t seem to be any Canadian online retailers. Perhaps it`s different in the UK though.

I`m still thinking on it but I`m probably going to bite the bullet and purchase my dress in london where I can keep an eye on its problems, I mean, Progress!
