NJ Beach Wedding Accomodations (& Music)
Hello! you could contact the Women`s Civic Club of Stone Harbor, NJ? This facility in on the beach, but much less costly than most...it is a not-for-profit. They are listed on the web. (You might also want to contact some fire houses in the less honky tonk shore towns.)
At the Women`s Civic Club, there is a kitchen for the heating & serving, and some prep. You can bring food or have a lower cost caterer. Your guests will have free access to the beach where the ceremony took place while using this facility, the actual reception would be in a tented lot and/ or in the building itself. It``s very simple, but very nice. There is a raise area for band or DJ or you can put them out under the tent.
Although it`s not a private beach, the time of year, time & day and location you choose can help limit the people. I have found that the nice folks on the Beach in Stone Harbor, Avalon, Ocean City NJ etc. Are really great to have around - they add to the relaxed feeling of loving the beach and always congratulate the couple from afar.
In many places, you can use the beach for free or reserve a gazebo in case of rain. In the case of the Women`s Civic Club, you can be married indoors
Hint: if you want a house rental to use for the wedding - most realtors & home owners will not rent if they are aware a wedding will be taking place. Too many septic problems, broken houses!
If you are going to get married in NJ, I am a beach ceremony musician listed on Party Pop as SINGING STRINGS in NJ. Good Luck & blessings to you in your wedding preparations!
Thanks, D. Conlin
