Wedding Reception

I am having a destination wedding but I need to plan receptions in Detroit and Philadelphia. I do not want a boring dinner with everyone sitting around. I`m trying to figure out how I can turn this reception into a welcome back party with food, fun, and dancing. Oh, the wedding will be in December and the receptions will be in January.
