I saw a website that had instructions for an alternative to chair covers, and it really doesn`t look too difficult. It doesn`t actually cover the chair, it is a decoration for the back. Who cares about the seat anyhow? You have wedding guests to cover those!

All you need for each one is about three yards of tulle, a silk flower and a safety pin.

You wrap the tulle around the upper back of the chair, tying in a knot. Secure it with the safety pin. Pull the edge of the tulle (from the side the person sits on) up over the top of the chairback, and tuck the edge behind the knot.

The flowers need a stem about four inches long. You then pop the stem of the silk flower into the knot , hiding the stem in the tulle. If your silk flower has leaves, take them off first.

The website I found it on is called yourweddingcompany. They`ll probably delete my post if I put in the site, but just put a dot com after that word and you`ll find all sorts of nifty wedding crafts.

Just go to this site: http://wedcraft.com/#Decorations.

About halfway down the page, under Decorations, you will find the one I`m talking about called Chairback Decoration. Or leave your email and I`ll send you a pic I downloaded.
