Dear Friend:
I am writing this letter to you in the most sincere and humble manner. My name is Keith Lee; and I recently experienced a difficult and unfortunate circumstance. In May of 2007, I experienced an unforgettable event in my life. I was stopped for a DUI offense in Cobb County and upon being placed under arrest and incarcerated for 17 days, I lost my job and shortly found myself homeless. I lived at various shelters in order to achieve a sense of normalcy in my life and to get my life back on track.
In July 2007, I learned of a homeless shelter called Must Ministries. Shortly after arriving at Must Ministries, I turned my life over to Christ and I am now a core member of a local church in Marietta. My life has begun to turn around. On July 26, 2007, with the help of Must Ministries, I was able to obtain permanent employment with a company called LDI Reproprinting in Marietta. In August 25, 2007, I had saved enough money to move into my apartment where I currently reside.
October 2007, I became engaged to a beautiful and virtuous woman of God, her name is Samella Walker; we plan to wed on November 1st or 8th of 2008. We would like to have an informal, but elegant wedding ceremony consisting of approximately 115 guests. Due to my current financial status, my dream of funding this life-changing event is severely hampered. I am reaching out to you for any donations or fundraising that you can do on our behalf to help make our special day a reality. We have obtained several quotes from places that can host what we are looking for; and I would be more than happy to provide those quotes to you. If this could be a reality I would be willing to do whatever you required, example, going to schools and talking to youth regarding the negative consequences of drinking and driving or whatever you deemed as acceptable.
On behalf of myself and my Fiancé, we would like to thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read this letter. We would be extremely honored, humbled and grateful for any assistance you could render to help make our special day a reality.
Sincerely,
Keith M. Lee
