Sweet 16 Instead Of Quineanera

Okay, so i didnt have a quinceanera because i never did my 1st communion. So instead i want a sweet sixteen next year (2008) around october. I am hispanic and i was wondering if it would be okay to do my sixteen kinda like a quinceanera with chambelanes and damas and that kind of stuff.

Please Help!

That`s perfectly fine. A lot of people are copying off the quinceanera celebration when they celebrate their Sweet 16 by having the crowning with the Tiara and the changing of the shoes. You can incorporate those with the lighting of the candles for your Sweet 16. It`s quite acceptable to do that now.
