Sweet Sixteen Instead Of A Quinceanera

Okay, so i didnt have a quinceanera, because i never did my 1st communion. So instead i want a sweet sixteen next year (2008) around october. I am hispanic and i was wondering if it would be okay to do my sixteen kinda like a quinceanera with chambelanes and damas and that kind of stuff.
