Planning A Wedding In Two Months

I am planning a wedding in two months....the major things have been taken care of: Ceremony site and Hall

Now we are looking for Wedding favor ideas, Bridesmaids/Groomsmen gifts, flower girl & ring bearers gifts; Honestly, I don`t want to spend a ton of money on the favors, guest book, wedding cake knife....will anyone even remember these things? I`ve been trying to buy as many inexpensive items as possible...I found a dress for $120.00...my wedding cake is from Sam`s club $27.00 a sheet (X2) ... My bridesmaids are wearing a long, black dress of their choice...they will carry a single rose tied with ribbon ($3.50 each) and groomsmen a red carnation ($1.50 each). I am really trying to find the best deals. I am mainly concerned about the meal, liquor and music provided for our guests...those are the things remembered.
Any ideas for more inexpensive wedding items would be greatly appreciated.

Girl-I know what you are going through. My dress cost me 100 and I just got my ceremony and reception place settled-wedding`s around the corner! I`m planning to buy wine from Trader Joe`s, they have bottles of wine (merlot, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon), charles shaw for $1.99. Some people like it, some people don`t Oh well! And i hope no one yells at me...but we are getting a few kegs. My husband to be, friends drink way too much (Can`t let go of their college days). I`m trying to figure out how to hide the keg or make it look less trashy. Good luck!

As wedding favors you could give each guest some chocolate candy kisses, wrapped in pretty fabrice and tied with a nice ribbon.

We`re doing the hershey`s kisses wrapped in tulle and they look very pretty. We`re also attatching a personalized ribbon and 2 silver rings to each favor. If anyone would like to see a pic let me know.

I know how you feel. If its music that your worried about check with local colleges or schools that may have djs in them, or if you want the romance.... Go with a quartet from the local school. With money being the downfall, and not a whole lot of time to plan you may want to do something of a pot-luck but make sure that no person is bringing the same thing. Or if it is in the summer, do a barbaque.

I am planning a wedding as well. My sister said that places like the 99cent only store or the Dollar store, and walmart, etc have really inexpensive favors. I might do bubbles for the kids. One kind is $9.99 for 48 bubbles, tie some ribbon around, and there you go.

I got my cake top at Walmart for about $20 and I am printing my own wedding invitations. Michaels has them. It is about $30 for 50 invites, including response cards and envenlopes.

Hope this helps.

Unless favors hold a special place in your heart, skip it and make a different element more meaningful and special.
