Is Anyone Interested In Sponsoring My Wedding
My fiance and I are trying to get married. We just want to be married but we also want a beautiful memorable event that everyone enjoys. Our situation is very tricky...we are pretty much living day to day just to pay the bills, with nothing much left to even think about how we are going to fund our wedding. We both come from big families, mine of which lives here and his lives overseas. Since we have set the date June 1st, 2008. We have been fighting constantly because #1 he says it would be cheaper to have the wedding overseas and # 2 WE HAVE NO MONEY to spend. If we go overseas, my family will not be able to make it. How can I get married with out my mom and dad in a country I don`t know? Anyways... My head has been spinning for months now...I just want to know if anyone is interested in sponsoring my wedding in exchange for advertising. Or can anyone help me? What do I do?

Do you work? Why not tell the ladies where you work that you would love to have a reception and invite them, but just cannot afford it. One of them may well suggest that they have a pot-luck reception for you at one of the homes.
You and your hubby can hae a beautiful wedding at your church or before a Justice of the Peace and ask a friend to record it. You can then send the video to your family & friends overseas. There is a place that will do this for you and film it live where the family can watch, but I don`t have that information handy.
To keep costs down, rent or borrow your gown or purchase one used. EBay has them for sale all the time. Right after prom time, the prom dresses (buy one in white) go WAY down in price.
I hope you have a wonderful wedding. You can do this with little money. If there is love in your hearts, there will be music in the air. The memories are just as sweet. If you do find that you have the money for a honeymoon trip "home", have a rededication ceremony at home in front of your famiily so they can share your joy in person as well.
