PotLuck Wedding

Last night my son and his angel announced their engagement. We started a guest list and it went over 100 with immediate family - grandparents, aunts and uncles, brothers and sisters and only the kids first cousins. How do you have a smaller event and exclude any of them, not to mention their close friends who were not even on the list yet when it topped 100? Why would anyone resent the small amount of time, energy and a few dollars to help with the food? To resent it would be incredibly poor taste and lack of etiquette. I hope and pray they opt for the Pot-luck that they`re considering and will rejoice with ALL our family and friends!
