Event Fantastic Wedding Planning — BEWARE!

Brides to be—beware! I had a horrible experience with the two "planners" running Event Fantastic in Zionsville, Indiana! They claimed everything in the world about their ability to plan weddings. When it came down to it, they did a better job of UNplanning what we had done than actually contributing to the event! The botched most of the vendors they were in charge of, either by giving them the wrong times or ordering the wrong materials and giving the wrong information. They over ordered our linens by nearly half! They shorted our tables and did not even set them all out. Forcing the grandfather of the groom to be seated with our photographer! They were immediately frustrated and completely lost their cool, exploding in tears and cursing at my mother on the night of the wedding. Even slinging half of the top of our wedding cake across the room and against the wall of my parents kitchen! They asked if they could leave in the middle of the event in exchange for returning all that we had paid them. We of course allowed them to leave, afraid of what they would do if we didn`t ,and still have not refunded our money. A situation that will unfortunately be handled in court no doubt. Thankfully, we had an amazing group of family and friends and a fantastic caterer who covered for all of this and truly made the evening the best I could have ever imagined. Our guests were not the wiser to the whole ordeal and everyone had an enchanted time! All I can say is check references, do research, and thank goodness for contracts! These girls are much in need of a little more professionalism before tackling another event of this level!
