Silk Size 10 Jasmine Dress For Sale
I am interested in selling a size 10 hand woven silk Jasmine wedding dress.
Color: Candlelight.
Style: Just off the shoulder neckline, basque waist, short "cap-like" sleeves, floor length.
Bodice: Covered in sewn-on flower "daisy-like" appliques with beading at the center of each flower; flowers range in size from less than 1" to about 2".
Below the waist: Silk, with spaced out occasional flowers as on the bodice; not overdone, very simple and clean looking. Not "poofy," but nicely full with a bridal slip underneath.
Hemline: Several inch wide flower applique and beaded band matching the bodice.
Train: I believe it would be classified as chappel length.
Bussel: This dress bussels beautifully into box type pleats.
The material: The silk in this dress is gorgeous. It`s a fantastic color, just barely a shade off of white. Natural silk fibers and lines run through the dress. It`s a heavy, sturdy material, but not overly hot (I wore it at the end of May and was quite comfortable.).
This dress was worn once and then professionally cleaned, pressed and sealed in a box since 2000. I have just opened the box for the first time to verify some of the details of the dress and to be able to take pictures.
I originally had the dress taken out slightly at the waist, so it`s not likely to have more room for taking out, but I think could be taken in if needed. It was hemmed for my height, 5`3" in rather tall heels-- probably about 3 inches.
I will also include with the sale of this dress a headband with attached comb and small flowers, which has eye hooks to attach to a veil. The veil is about elbow length, with a lovely thin trim around all three layers. I hand sewed small applique flowers on to the veil that match the dress (I purchased them through the bridal shop, who got them from Jasmine). I wore the headband with veil for the wedding, and later detached the veil for the recpetion, keeping the headband in to keep my `do in place. Also included is a small pouch/ clutch, which could be used as a purse or a money bag if you are having a bridal money dance.
This is a really elegant, yet simple dress. It was comfortable to wear.
I can take pictures of the dress from muliple views.
The original retail price of this dress was over $1000. I would like to get $400 OBO, and will negotiate who will pay for shipping based on what the dress sells for.

I`ve been looking at a dress by Jasmine that sounds simular to the one you have described. If at all possible could you take pictures of it and either post them to this website or send them to my email address. It would be great to be able to spend a little less on my dress, especially since the wedding is small. Hope to hear from you soon!
