Wedding Sponsorship

My name is Cassie a 23 year old Houstonian who is planning on getting married with my fiancée of 5 years on January 26, 2008. Though, the only thing stopping us and the reason for writing you is because we don’t have the funds to do so and we are hoping that we can have a corporate sponsored wedding. I would like to inform you a bit of who my fiancee and I are before our request….we met 5 years ago through a Christian line and we fell in love not too long after our first date, which blissfully it falls on the day we would like to get married. We are both from families of 5 kids, I fall 1st from my family and he is the third boy and four from his other siblings, our families unfortunately can’t help with the funds for our wedding because of lack of money and or work. My fiancées father is sick with diabetes and maybe in need of a kidney transplant and can’t hardly move or walk, and his mom works as the attendance person at a High School, both in their late 50’s and early 60’s. His brothers and sisters are pretty much in the same predicament as us, though the 2 older and other boys are married and as tradition goes the parents of the bride paid… his older sister eloped and his younger sister is not engaged or married. In my family my mom has always been a house wife, she’s tried to work but because of my younger brothers she is unable to, my father has worked with a company for 10 years now, and does not get paid more than $500.00 a week, that money goes to my 4 other siblings, rent, food, and if we have enough other necessities. Both my fiancée and I have tried to pay for this wedding, but we had a bad share of luck since our engagement. When he proposed he had just been let go from the company he was with for almost 3 years, and I was blessed to work with a great Houston attorney but it was not enough to pay for my own utilities and a wedding. When we thought we had enough money saved up, we both lost our jobs again. My former employer was blessed to be appointed to Judge for the Criminal District Court, and my fiancées contract with a company he started working in April was not renewed. After noticing that we did not have enough money to live separately we moved into a two bedroom apartment, though now all of our savings for out wedding unfortunately went to pay for rent, utilities, food, and other necessities, and well… that is the reason and/or reasons why we are in need of your generosity and goodwill. We kindly ask if you could help sponsor our dream wedding with us returning your favor by advertising your companies name or logo on our wedding program, and/or at our pre-reception and main reception.
